About Us
Who we are
We are the benefice of Tonge, Rhodes and Alkrington - a community of faith in the town of Middleton in the Diocese of Manchester - made up of the parish churches of St Michael's, Tonge-cum-Alkrington and All Saints, Rhodes.
We also work together with five other churches in something called a Mission Community. The other churches in the Mission Community are:

A prayer for our mission community
God of all faithfulness, you search us and you know us, make us your own.
You are our light, our hope, our guide.
Form us as your good and faithful servants as we seek to do your work in parishes and across the mission community.
May we love you with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength as we look for the growth and flourishing of your people, and love our neighbour as ourselves.
For by this love your faithfulness will be made known in all seasons.
